Hi, I’m Cecilia.

I am an Anthropology student at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. I’m from Seattle, and like most Seattleites, I love coffee, rain, and mountains. I have four dogs, but I’d rather have ten. So far, I’ve been to the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, New Zealand, Samoa, and Canada. With any luck, this blog will see me through to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. I’ll miss my family, my boyfriend, my dogs, and oatmeal cookies while I’m gone, but I’ll fill those voids with mangoes, sandy beaches, and new friends. I’d like nothing more than to photograph and eat my way around the world, and this is quite the starting point. I hope that through this blog, you will share our experiences as we learn, travel, and eat our way through our semester in Southeast Asia.
